This agreement covers font purchases made under Primefont’s five-license system. Your receipt identifies the font, license and selected limits. Earlier purchases keep the terms supplied at purchase; see earlier license terms.
What you are buying
You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the purchased font. You do not own the font or its copyright. Payment is one-time and the licensed use has no expiry, provided you stay within these terms.
Your five choices
Desktop
For everyday print and digital design.
- 2 named users on 2 computers.
- Print, packaging, client artwork and logos without trademark registration.
- Up to 20,000 physical items sold, including print-on-demand with fixed artwork.
- Organic social content and non-monetized online videos.
- Deliver finished images, PDFs or outlined artwork to clients.
Not included: Website or e-book font embedding; paid ads or monetized videos. Trademark logo use, apps, games, servers or TV/film: choose a broader license.
Webfont
For displaying live text on your website.
- 1 website/domain, including its subdomains.
- Self-host the supplied WOFF or WOFF2 files with @font-face.
- Choose 10K, 100K, 1M, 10M or unlimited monthly pageviews at checkout.
- Commercial sites, online shops, blogs and portfolios.
Not included: Desktop design, logos, e-books, apps or server-generated output. Public design editors, font generators or downloadable font libraries.
Branding & Logo
For a business identity, logo and marketing.
- Everything in Desktop, for 5 named users on 5 computers.
- 1 business logo or wordmark, including use in trademark applications.
- Up to 1,000,000 physical items sold, including fixed-artwork print-on-demand.
- 1 website/domain, up to 1,000,000 pageviews per month.
- Paid digital ads and monetized social/online video content, with no audience limit.
- Unlimited e-book titles and template sales; keep font files protected.
Not included: Font embedding in apps/games, server rendering or TV/film: choose Extended or Corporate as applicable. Public design editors, editable text generators or font-file redistribution.
Extended
For larger projects, apps, games and automated output.
- Everything in Branding & Logo, for 20 named users on 20 computers.
- Unlimited physical item sales and pageviews on 1 website/domain.
- Protected font embedding in 1 app, game or software product, including its updates.
- 1 production server for automated images, PDFs and internal output.
- The same single business logo, plus unlimited e-books, templates and online advertising.
Not included: TV, cinema, film or OTT productions: choose Corporate. Public font/design generators, redistribution or use across unrelated license holders.
Corporate
For one company working across teams, brands and media.
- Everything in Extended, with unlimited users and computers within 1 legal entity.
- Up to 10 business logos and 10 app/game/software products.
- Up to 5 production servers and 5 TV, film, cinema or OTT productions.
- Unlimited websites, pageviews, physical item sales, e-books and online advertising.
- Named contractors may work for the license holder; they do not gain rights for other clients.
Not included: Other companies, public design generators or font redistribution require separate written permission.
Who may use the font?
One license covers one named person or legal entity. Each person who installs or accesses the font counts as a user. Contractors working only for that license holder count within the same seat limit. Separate companies and unrelated clients need separate licenses.
A designer may buy on an end client’s behalf. Identify that client when ordering, or contact us with the order number. Delivering finished artwork is allowed; giving a client reusable font files is allowed only if their license and seat limit cover the users receiving them.
How limits work
Physical item limits are cumulative units sold per licensed font, across all designs and stores. Pageviews are counted monthly for the licensed website; its subdomains are included. Reaching a limit requires an upgrade before further use. Contact us with your receipt; any upgrade price will be confirmed in writing.
Branding & Logo includes Desktop and its stated web rights. Extended includes Branding & Logo. Corporate includes Extended with the higher limits shown above. You do not need to buy lower packages again. Desktop and standalone Webfont may be combined.
Keep the files protected
You may edit outlined letters in finished artwork and use the supplied font formats. Do not resell, redistribute or create derivative font files. Do not upload font files to public converters or font libraries. Backups for licensed use are allowed.
E-books, apps and templates must protect the font from extraction or reuse. Templates may contain flattened or outlined artwork; they may not give buyers reusable font files or typeable access to the font. Public design tools, font generators and AI training need separate written permission.
Logos, files and support
Branding & Logo and higher packages allow font-based logos to be submitted for trademark registration. This does not guarantee registration, trademark clearance or exclusive ownership of the font.
For missing files, technical problems or usage outside these limits, contact Primefont with your order number. We may end a license for a material breach that remains unresolved after notice. These terms do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
